Sutera Sanctuary Lodges At Kinabalu Park

I have not receive refund of rm100 deposit yet. Chk in on 22 Nov 2023.

Furniture broken down, poor toilet drainage at sink and bathing area. Not happy with the cleanliness of the room. Road at resort arw very bad. Breakfast and staff are excellent.

Its all about the nature and the weather…

The room smells like dust and the bed as well is dusty.

we stayed in Nepenthes and Liwagu suite, its old however the staff and housekeeping it well. They help us ship the lost and found which is extra mile to keep us smile. this shows their commitment and hardwork. I can give 1000/100 for their support

would like to have more food choices as there’s no facilities outside too. Housekeeping round the clock though there is not much requests

The location is truly unbeatable, as staying right inside Kinabalu Park gives you immediate, easy access to all the trails and the mesmerizing mountain atmosphere. Waking up to the cool, crisp mountain air and the occasional clear view of Mount Kinabalu creates a sense of peace and a deeply memorable, natural experience. The staff are consistently professional, and very helpful, always ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay, whether you are relaxing or preparing for a climb.

For the premium price, some of the lodges, particularly the bathrooms, feel quite dated and are definitely in need of modern refurbishment.

Great location in the park

Terrible state of bathroom. Leaking pipes, water everywhere and needs upgrading - in Hill Lodge - maybe different elsewhere

It’s simple and basic but nice! Bathroom was clean enough every time I went and you can get free water refills from the machine in the common room.

There’s a common room below the rooms and some of the nights that I was staying there were some loud talkers and I could hear their entire conversations through the ceiling.
