"Did not meet their promises"

Worse place to stay, service bad, staff mean and not cordial, no hot breakfast as promised, elevator broke, room stayed extremely hot till 4 am, no bar for handicap to get out of shower, refused to give a receipt that I asked for, they promised to send one to my email but never did till a week of discussion with corporate headquarters, room for two ccharged me 197.94 when corporate says they only received 137 I have my credit card breakdown showing a total charge of 197.94 billed to my account , hotel under repairs and we were not forewarned when booking on line basically they screwed me, so if u r elderly watch out for this place,,

"This hotel has potential to be a great hotel, however Center Texas wasn’t prepared for the influx of guest for the World"

Location. Price was good. They let the kids swim a little later one night after a hot day at Center Park.

There was a delay on receiving towels to the room. There was a delay checking in as there was a problem with their computer system. There was construction going on which in itself wasn’t an issue, but where tile was being replaced in the lobby, there was no marker showing the tile transition and I saw multiple ppl trip, including my mother.

The wifi did not work at all and I could not make a phone call from my room. Had to go out side to make a call or send a text. very inconvenient. tried to get help but was unable to get it fixed.

Everything was great except breakfast. Sausage and omelette texture was like rubber and was not good. Potatoes okay. I think Hilton needs to improve on their breakfast. Bagels fell apart before toasting. Staff was great, pool was clean, rooms immaculate and spacious.
