Super 8 by Wyndham Monteagle TN

They were very convenient stay as we were driving back from Florida to Indiana. We had to book here due to our pre booked hotel was closed through hotels.com.

Would stay there again:)

This hotel is in terrible condition. I did not get the room I reserved and ended up with a room that smelled so heavy of cigarette smoke our eyes were watering. All of our clothes and bags also stunk of smoke. The carpets were dirty, the mattress was broken down, the bedding threadbare and just overall very dissappointing.

The bed I slept in was worn out. It had a huge "hole" in it where it has been slept on for years. The bed spread had burn marks and stains on it, we found multiple hairs on the towels over the two day stay, and top it all off, the direct tv was hit or miss most of the time we were in the room (and yes that mattered on a Saturday afternoon as it was a college football gameday). The breakfast was not as advertised, so we ate at the adjacent Waffle House. Disappointed to say the least.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The room was ok for one night stay. I would return ~

Handicap room with roll in shower did not have a shower chair and apparently there was not one available in the whole hotel! Unacceptable! Wheelchair accessible room barely had enough room for the wheelchair to get around.

Staff was friendly and check-in was very quick. Not very clean, pillows smelled old and dirty.

We have stayed at this hotel every October for the past several years. It has gone downhill severely over the past year. We will not be staying here again. The room was dirty, the staff was unhelpful, and the lock for our room didn’t work. Totally unacceptable.

We found this Super 8 Motel to be very clean and the staff very accommodating. Though I usually stay at higher end Hotels and Suites, this Motel offered comfortable beds, clean and fresh rooms that are very ample in size. Nice TV and Cable with a larger Refrigerator which we appreciate. Over All...in this category of Motels, I give this one..Five Stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was originally booked into a room that had not been cleaned. There were towels on the floor. The beds were straightened, but not made. There were banana peels in the wastebasket. It was a total turn off. It took a separate trip to the desk to complain. I was given another room that I could not inspect due to a meeting. Later - anxiety heightened - late at night I entered the new room and it was okay. Further, I had left my driver's license at the desk. My fault. I should have been more mindful. I left with it still in the copier. Upon my return, it was given to me with the explanation that they had tried to call me. But it appeared that they made a typo in my phone number and I never got the call. More anxiety. Overall, as a sleep cheap, it filled the bill. But the added "stuff" made for a memorable experience in the wrong way. Oh, one other thing. The WiFi is so slow as to be unusable.
