Super 8 by Wyndham Monteagle TN

The staff was pleasant snd frindly. I booked a smoking room. I know smoking is frowned upon but this hotel offered smoking rooms. I was very disappointed to find my room had carpet, very old carpet, with cigarette burns all over it. The bathroom was dirty. It appeared to be hastily cleaned. Whether a room is purchased by a smoker or nonsmoker each customer deserves to get a decent room.

This property has apparently recently changed management, and my visit was terrible. My room was almost given away while I was in flight, in spite of being pre-paid and me calling ahead to say I would arrive late. When I got there the room was flooded. I was promised a transfer to a different room the next day, which was then forgotten, and I was finally given the key to a room that was visibly occupied and surrounded by down-on-their luck looking people loitering around. Stay away!

The room was nasty had a grocery bag stuffed in the peep hole stepped on wet carpet by the sink management was very unpleasant to talk to I'll never stay at another motel 8

Close to highway. Very dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been swept in months. Bed broken down and very uncomfortable

Polite staff. Clean rooms. Restaurants and stores nearby

It needs updating and new linens. My pillow smelled of oily hair and was flat. There was drainage work going on nearby outside, and a semi was running most of the night, so I didn't sleep much.

Some of the doors were kicked in and even though I called to make specific arrangements several times and they assured me everything was good. They had no record of my requests and said that their call center is told to say it’s taken care of.

We was checked in, went to our room to find housekeeping cleaning it. Had to wait 20min before we could go into our room. This was an hour after check in time.

Asked for a non-smoking room but the comforter was full of burns and the room reeked of smoke. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed in sometime. The staff was really nice and the location was convenient. The room was gross.
