Theodora Suites - Adults Only

The location and service were good. Just, it was too much expensive comparing the amenities of the hotel. I hope that my expense also reflects the salary of the local staff.

The room was beautiful, large and had a perfect view of the Oia sunset from the balcony. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE! As beautiful as the view was, there are plenty of other hotels way more worth your money. First, the rooms are outdated with the bare minimum amenities. Lights were flickering and bathroom vent made weird noises. Second, their overall customer service was non existent! They overbooked the deluxe suite and downgraded me to the junior suite the first night. Made me pack up and switch rooms the next day to finally give me the deluxe suite. I only stayed for 2 nights, so the unpacking and packing was very inconvenient. The front desk girl was a complete liar as she never even told me I was getting a smaller room. She just said “the second room will be nicer, don’t worry”. And don’t get me started on the manager who has absolutely ZERO customer service skills. His first words to me were “Who are you? What is the problem?” And when I told him that I booked a deluxe suite for 2 nights and was a given a junior suite, his exact words were “they’re practically the same! Only 20-30 euros different”. What kind of customer service is that?! The price difference was definitely a lie as I checked and it’s about $100 more for the deluxe. He and the front desk girl refused to acknowledge that they overbooked me, continuing to say the rooms were the same. As a hotel manager, don’t raise your voice and yell at your customers at the front desk. Will never go back to Santorini again as he completely ruined my trip.

This place is fantastic!! Honestly could not recommend enough! The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was so cool and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was such an incredible bonus and the view is insane. Keep in mind that it is right in front of the two blue domes so it does get busy near the villa, however there is a rope barrier to keep people out that aren’t staying. Also, the view of this room was the volcano which was beautiful, however you cannot see the sunset- you can go to a separate property also owned by the same company to watch the sunset. This is totally worth the 5 minute walk over to the other property but I would still recommend staying at the volcano view because in my opinion it had an overall better view. Breakfast was fantastic and for sunset we were able to head to their second property that had the most incredible view! I literally cannot recommend this place enough. A little side-note: I would recommend getting the transfer from the port as it is a bit of a drive and the buses can be a little insane. Will be sending friends and family for this stay!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time staying here at Theodora. We purchased the standard room and it came with a jacuzzi and the spa bed. The view from our room was just stunning, during the day and at sunset! The only thing that was a downside was to flip the switch to get hot water, but we were okay with that because the food, the service, the staff, and even the cats begging for food was worth it! Thank you for making our first couple's trip a memorable one!

You have to book this hotel because it has the BEST view of the sunset. You will have the front seat when it comes to sunset scenery. You will see people around you, by the steps, by the cliff of the Oia castle trying to have a view of the sunset, while you chill at your designated lounge area, with a glass of wine watching the beautiful sun to set (Wear your sunglasses btw). It is not only the sunset the main reason to stay here, but the staff are amazing and friendly. Elena (front desk) will help you book anything you need, just ask her, she's going to tell you the activities around the area. Nitay (if I spelled it right) will help you with your luggage because Oia street is not as friendly as you think, its is very steep, narrow and slippery. Make sure to give him a generous tip. Lastly, Katie - she is the one who keeps your room clean and serve you breakfast and she's a very nice lady. The best part about this location is it's not in the direct sunlight in the morning, so you will enjoy eating your breakfast outside your balcony. The other side of Oia is where the sun rise and it gets so hot.

Overall a really enjoyable stay. The property is in excellent location, 1min from Kasto House and 8min walking downstairs to Ammundi Bay. We didn’t stay at the property for sunset but it supposed to have really good views. The only thing is the pool located a bit inside part of the balcony, so the sunset view from the pool might be a bit limited but I can see if sit at the table or stand right outside the room, the sunset view will be amazing! The host helped us booked a sunset sealing trip with Santorini yauchting club, which was perfect! Highly recommend it!

We had the most incredible stay at Theodora Suites in Oia. The place is right in the middle of the center of town and has access to the best restaurants, shops, and bars. The private hot tub and views from the balcony are amazing. If you want the best sunset spot in town where you have a private balcony to yourself away from all of the crowds, book this place!! The kitchen, living, and sleeping area below is a little tight, but it has everything you need. It was just fine for our stay and it is all worth it for the private hot tub and balcony. The hosts were very gracious, welcomed us when we came, and made sure we had everything to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend.

My husband and I were referred by friends to stayed here for the last portion of our honeymoon. We paid for a deluxe suite with an outdoor hot tub. If you have trouble walking stairs, this is not the hotel for you. Just to get down to this hotel from the drop off point there are about 50 stairs.You must walk these stairs each time you want to go anywhere. They do send someone to help with luggage which is a plus. Our room was large, but felt outdated. We were mostly disappointed that our hot tub looked and felt dirty and was not hot at all even after we requested the temperature be raised many times. The management told us that the tub was stained from some type of red rain they received a few years prior and that the temperature was maxed out at 96F. The jets also only stayed on for 5 minutes at a time. In our 5 night stay, we only went in the tub once for 10 minutes. Also, we were unable to see the water and the sunset from the hot tub the way it was situated on the balcony. Additionally, our bed was hard as a rock and the shower was too short for my 6ft tall husband. Not that we planned to watch TV, but it was tiny and only in the living room area, so if you are someone who likes to sleep with the tv on, it would not be possible. The part of the stay that makes it all worth it is the sunset view. You truly cannot get a better view from land than the area in which this hotel is in. People line the stairs outside the hotel just to watch the sun setting below the horizon.
