The Bosun's Chair

Called here on our walk around Lymington and was made very welcome. It is a lovely place very clean. We sat inside as it was spitting with rain. The young lady even turned the cricket on the television for us. It wasn’t very busy but it was a lunchtime and it is February so not very busy with tourists. We were talking to a guy down by the harbour and he recommended this pub and we were so glad he did. We didn’t have any food but they had a great selection of Pizzas so next time we will try those. We will definitely go here next time we are in Lymington. Great pub great service great staff 👏👏👍

We recently stayed in room 8. Its was a lovely decorated room with a very comfy bed and pillows. The only thing that let it down was I tried to run a bath and only luke warm water came out, then the shower was either far too hot or freezing cold. The breakfast was amazing and high quality. Just a shame the pub was only serving pizzas of an evening, would have been nice to have more options. Don’t get me wrong, the pizzas were nice, but just a shame about the limited options.

Lovely welcome by really helpful staff. Room was lovely , very cozy with a very nice en-suite with heated floor and huge shower. We didn’t eat at the pub but we did have a drink and was made really welcome. The breakfast was first class with good quality ingredients. Couldn’t fault it, thank you.

Great location, staff and food. Room 4 bathroom a ittle small with poor shower pressure. Onsite Carpark is mostly covered by trees, lots of mess from these dropped onto the cars below. We enjoyed our stay and considered ourselves well looked after.

Nice rooms over a pub. Stayed here for convenience of getting to the Isle of Wight ferry. Very helpful staff. Good food and drinks Traveling with heavy luggage, beware- No elevator. Staff will help carry it! Would stay here again.

Staff at the Hotel very welcoming and friendly. The yogurt was the best ever, locally produced with the fruit. The main dish was cooked to our choice and very tasty. Also the pizzas were exceptional and good choice of beverages. I will say although all the rooms were refurbished and clean you had to put your please clean the room card out or tell reception after breakfast otherwise it would not be done. The situ of the pub was ideal for walking around Lymington and Parking as well.

We had a really lovely 2 night stay here and simply couldn’t fault it at all. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all. Our room was very comfortable and clean and had everything that we needed. Breakfast was lovely with very good quality ingredients. We would definitely stay here again and definitely would recommend to anyone.
