A very comfortable overnight stay where the staff were friendly and helpful

The staff were very helpful, assisting with our luggage. Breakfast was excellent. Service from all staff was of a very high standard.

The staff are very friendly and efficient Our two dogs were made very welcome. Food was excellent.

The staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was really good, especially for my wife who has dietary challenges. The only downside for us was the tight and twisty stairs to the 2nd floor room when carrying luggage, but then we are in our 70's. Would stay again.

What a lovely place. Our room was a great size, comfortable and clean with clearly a lot of care put into the guest experience. Staff were welcoming and friendly and at breakfast we were looked after so well. Breakfast was delicious and a good size. Location was perfect for us and although the car park is small we got parked fine. We will definitely be back again and look forward to seeing the further renovations in the rooms.

The room was so poorly sound insulated from the pub, that it was almost like having a bed in the bar.

We don't often stay in pubs but pleased we did this time, great location, almost opposite the station and close to harbour, shops and restaurants. Our room was a good size and decor was good, toiletries were good quality and paraben free. Bed was comfortable although we found the quilt a little heavy. Breakfast was very good, served by a very cheerful and welcoming Kayleigh each morning. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We asked for an iron but didn't get it, mentioned to Kayleigh on last morning and said we should have asked her. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Good 2 night stay check in good staff was great room was good for the price breakfast was top class

Pleasantly surprised. The bedroom good size and the en suite more than adequate. Very comfortable bed and fresh linen which contributed to a good nights sleep. We spent the previous night at an “ up market” hotel and this had many pluses that yesterdays stay didn’t have. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. This review has been completed before breakfast but I am sure there will be no complaints!

We absolutely loved this pub we stayed here for 1 night. The room was lovely really clean & spacious and the bed wad super comfy. Staff were friendly & the breakfast in the morning was great. The pub itself is nicely done up & we enjoyed chilling here with a beer. Would highly recommend.
