Rooms where large and very clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovrly garden area and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend the brisket taco's and the lamb was delightful

Staff were lovely (all of them) room was very comfortable and clean … lovely fluffy large towels and the food and breakfast was fab … loved the Halloween decorations

Excellent stay at The Bosuns Chair. Recently refubished room was lovely & spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, including a plentiful supply of good quality towels, more than ample tea & coffee making facilities, full length mirror, nice smelling toiletries, plus lots of extra thoughtfil touches, in case you needed them (nail kit, shaving kit, additional toiletry items etc). Any street noise from cars had died down by mid-evening and it was very very quiet overnight and in the morning. Although there is a pub downstairs, again there was no problem with noise. Breakfast was excellent! Good choice, speedy service, tasty and well presented. Staff were nice and friendly. Parking was limited and a bit tight, but not a major problem. Excellent central location for Lymington train station, local restaurants and shops. We would 100% recommend The Bosuns Chair and stay there again.

10/10 for this property. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy parking. Breakfast was amazing. The property has been recently refurbished, so the room , pub/facilities are superb. Would happily stay here again and recommend.

Stayed at the Bosuns last weekend. Lovely, clean accommodation and very quiet at night. Had dinner on the premises and the steak and beef rib were to die for. Bar and waiting staff are so friendly and helpful. Free parking and great location near the High Street and Railway station. Loved every minute of our stay. Thanks Bosuns, great work!

Had an excellent stay here with a group of friends. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had a mixture of rooms from single to deluxe double. All rooms were well kitted out with comfy beds and a great selection of towels. The doubles were large and spacious with the addition of coffee machines and more toiletries. Food was excellent all round, we had a light snack for lunch when we arrived, it was well above your standard ‘pub grub’. The breakfast was superb with a great selection of freshly cooked ‘main’ options, particular call out to the eggs which were poached to perfection. Great location being a short walk from the quay and high street. Couple of recommendations – 1. The railway station is at the end of the street and traffic could be heard (though not excessive) from the rooms at the front 2. Due to the nature of the building the stairs are quite narrow, so anyone slightly less mobile might wish to request a first-floor room

Great location. I have stayed there many times and will again in April. Good breakfast and customer service. Kaylee was exceptional.

We were three hungry and thirsty sailors in need of a good meal and a few beers and The Bosun's Chair gave us exactly what we wanted. The place was bright and clean, the service at the bar and at the table was first class, there was a good choice of beers and real ales and the food was delicious. Our steaks were served on a hot slab so we could cook them at the table to the way we liked them which was a nice touch. Full marks to Kaylee who looked after us for the evening. The warm welcome and friendly service was very much appreciated. We'll be back next time we sail into Lymington.

Staff were great, room clean and tidy, central position, free parking, overall great, we will stay here again when we visit Lymington
