The George Inn

Meals were delicious and present beautifully. All staff happy welcoming and interested in us and our travels.

Pillows were too soft, we do prefer a more firm one.

The menu was limited, which is a positive, and the food very good. The atmosphere in the bar was really good. The staff were excellent. Prompt service throughout our stay. The hotel is located close to Cheddar Gorge, which we loved

Whilst the bedroom and ensuite were fine, the bedroom could do with some updating in time.

The staff and the welcome were top notch. Instantly felt very comfortable and attended to. Dinner and breakfast was also excellent. Options at the bar were also excellent.

As we were visiting to attend a wedding in the village, a full length mirror in the room would have been appreciated. But honestly, thats it.

The food was excellent. All the staff were really lovely, helpful and efficient. We would stay again but ask for another room We liked the tea station in the corridor Room was lovely and warm and spacious

Room 1 disadvantage is the kitchen fans and food smells if you are early to bed, they are turned off between 9-10 so wasn't a real problem for us and the bed wasn't overly comfortable. Sorry we didn't mention the bed at the time hate to moan after the event!

For friendliness, the welcome, the attention to comfort......... could not be faulted. The village is lovely, the food was wonderful and service excellent.

Great really nice. We asked for an early breakfast and the team were able to support the request. The breakfast was cooked to order as well, no buffet or missing out.

The bed was a little soft but everything else was really great.
