Friendly Staff looked after us very well Location was great for our family get-together Great local atmosphere for watching rugby Good varied menu, value for money Room / bed was comfortable

Tea bags for room were not good Decor a little tired in places Room not serviced during our 3 night stay but we had adequate facilities for our needs Could be a little noisy from the pub area in the evening

Location

Stank of chip fat and the bathroom was covered in fat from the fryers in the kitchen below. Cheap old mattress on the bed. Broken picture frame. Tv so small you can't see if from the bed.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms with lovely decor. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bar area is great with cool lighting

Our double room could have benefitted from a small dressing table to sit at but otherwise lovely

Breakfast was a ‘Full English’ so big I needed a nap after. Staff were friendly. Room was wonderful and I had a perfect nights sleep. So peaceful. Shower was lovely.

Access to the parking area was tight. But it is a small village and the roads are narrow so it sort of adds to the charm of the place.

We didn't have breakfast, I mistakenly thought breakfast was included in the price, it wasn't, although it was available, location is handy for a visit to Cheddar

I do think if you're paying £100 a night, breakfast should be included in the price
