The George Inn

Love the place. The room was comfortable and all necessary facilities were provided. Staff were fab. Food was exceptional. Plenty of parking available. Also, we visited Wookey Hole Caves on our way and they were happy to store the cheese we bought in the fridge for us. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Really very small things that would have made a difference to me...the tea/coffee station was outside the room on the landing and dressing gowns were not provided so had to get dressed to make our morning cuppa. Would prefer this facility to be in the room. There was no full length mirror in the room which I would have liked.

Friendly staff, cosy bar, good bistro restaurant.

Stayed here a few times whilst visiting family in Wedmore. Nice rustic pub/inn. Good food and beer, Exceelnt location for visiting the area.

The staff were really welcoming and accommodating from the second I walked through the door. Dan at breakfast was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and really polite nice guy
