The George Inn

The staff were lovely and attentive. My ancestors were from Wedmore and the staff pointed me to sites of interest as well as that of the hotel which used to be a court room 500 years ago. Also, food was lovely. Recommend the falafel burger and lemon and garlic scampi. Delicious. Our room was spacious with an iced water dispenser and tea and coffee making facilities outside the room.

A few stairs up to the room, but staff carried our luggage, so no drama.

Great location.Very peaceful in a lovely village.

Had to go out onto landing to make a hot drink.Meant having to get dressed.

Staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast was particularly good.

Our room was not as shown on the app. The road outside was busy until late and the traffic noisy.

The staff were amazing. We spent little time in the pub but check in, breakfast and checkout were superb. Would wholly recommend.

Friendly welcome, convenient location in the middle of Wedmore. We had a lovely characterful room with lots of light, a comfortable bed and hot shower.

It is in a beautiful village. The building, roughly 600 years old has really fantastic character. Our bedroom was just incredible. I loved it.
