Hotel Arvor

The hotel is a little worn, but very livable. If you are driving call and email them to let you know you need parking! We thought we had but as it worked out there is a big 300 car garage less then 2 blocks away that I felt was easier to get in and out of then their parking and they give you a pass to use for that garage as well. The payment system was confusing, I am still trying to iron it out as they say that expedia does not charge us so we have to pay for the full booking at check out( as I said I have to check on this). The staff was helpful and spoke English and the town is an easy walk, 2 days spent there was more than enough.

A very nice place packed in the town centre and a very historical place. The great small room on the top floor with clean decor and great bath room. They have parking in the back but it has not much space but as you can realise there is a lot of parking restrictions in this narrow street town. The location is good for your walk around town to see all the attractions. WiFi is there as most places and work one registered. There is charge for the parking which is understandable of €6 a day due the location. All in all a good place to rest and enjoy your trip in france.

After reading previous reviews on Expedia and Lonely Planet, we thought this would be "over the top," However our room was very small, and there was a lot of road noise from cars and "the little white tourist train." The soundproofing between rooms was also not ideal. The staff were excellent and gave us a "Z-Pass" which provides free aperitif or appetizer in a number of locations. We highly recommend requesting parking well in advance, as the hotel's parking lot was not available upon arrival. They did direct us to safe underground parking, however. A positive aspect is that the hotel is in the center of the old town, the elevator was a plus as well.

Very nice French décor in the hotel. Liked it a lot. Very well placed near the town centre. Easy access to all restaurants and patisseries. Need a bit of atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay in the heart of town. The room was small but comfortable . An elevator was a welcome change to lugging bags up stairs. Helpful, staff.

The hotel is ina great location at the centre of Dinan. Our room was not huge but adequate and well decorated. The receptionist was welcoming and provided lots of information. Breakfast was good although there are lots of local alternatives.

Perfect hotel in an ideal location, in one of the most beautiful cities in Western Brittany. Why fight the crowds in St. Malone when you can have a better experience only 30 minutes away? Everything is within walking distance. The staff caters to English speaking guests and are wonderful!

Dinan is a wonderful place to walk around and experience. This hotel is right in the middle of everything. Staff was friendly and helpful.
