Friendly welcome and delicious food. Would highly recommend.

Easy walking distance into town. There are only 4 rooms, but they have a bar and restaurant. The room was fairly large and comfortable. The staff and the food were great.

Friendly and welcoming staff, nice breakfast,parking on site. Conveniently situated at the quiet end of the main street.

Overall, looks a bit run down. Outside area was scruffy with dirty ashtray and reception area cluttered. Inside could have been cleaner. Had to ask for a clean glass at breakfast and there was a dirty tissue on the windowsill. The cooked breakfast was good. Don’t think it was good value for money at £100 for B&B

Really enjoyed my overnight stay it was a warm and cosy room , it’s not a big flash hotel but for the price was pleasantly surprised yes it has some where and tear, But everything was clean especially the an suite which was a great addition, And the coffee machine and tea and coffee and a kettle plus biscuits, All this plus breakfast for £86, Would definitely recommend for someone wanting a nice quiet stay , Plus breakfast was really good with multiple choice …

We planned a week in Scotland starting here then going on to Fort William and Stirling. As the weather was so surprisingly good we decided to keep Stirling for another time and go back to the Old rectory. Once again the food and service was excellent. The atmosphere in the bar in the evenings was warm and welcoming. Nothing not to like.
