Location and the breakfast was delicious.

The scratching inside the walls with it being an old building something was nesting inside, and the height of the doorways isn’t great for someone who is tall.

The pub food was hearty and warming.

Could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and the pub downstairs from the room.

We had to wait approx 5 minutes for a member of staff to speak to us when we went down for breakfast on Sunday. Although it didn't affect us personally, I think the fact that there was a step down into the room from the door, and another steeper step into the bathroom should have been mentioned prior to booking. It could have been difficult/ dangerous for elderly people with any mobility issues.

Great room, food and staff

Lovely friendly locals’ pub. Staff welcoming and food amazing. Both the stay and food were great value. I shall visit again.
