Kassandra Palace Seaside Resort

Photos were very inaccurate as rooms were old and definitely not 5* quality. Bathroom needed upgrade and room wasn't comfortable - e.g. one chair in a double room. More like 2-3 star quality. We stayed in a far better 3* after this stay in the same region. Staff were harrassed looking at reception & not especially welcoming or helpful. Buffet staff & restaurant staff were good. Covid measures were reassuring - gloves, sanitiser and masks available. Beautiful pool and beach access and showers on beach. Kids pool and club and daily activities like Pilates. Overall it felt anonymous and utilitarian - not what I'd expect from 5*. Not bad value for a 3-4* experience but rooms did let it down.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Einen spezieller Dank geht an Vasilis, welcher uns am Strand immer sehr freundlich bedient hat. Auch an Despina ein grosses Dankeschön für alle Bemühungen. Insgesamt ist das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Meine Freundin hat eine Glutenallergie und der Kochchef hat jeden Abend immer vorgeführt, welche Speisen frei von Gluten sind. Wir waren sehr glücklich in diesem Hotel und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vorallem hat uns der Strand gefallen, welcher direkt am Hotel liegt.

Pro’s: the staff was amazing. The service was great, couldn’t have been better. They were so kind and polite. They made us feel really special. Everything outside the mainbuilding was gorgeous. It was a beautiful place, it felt so peaceful. There was sunbeds by the beach and a really nice bar. It was just perfect. There was a restaurant with a seaview (Magnolia). The food there was so good. Dont miss out on the moussaka & aubergine & choclate sphere if you go there. The breakfast was incredible as well. Cons: it was crowded at the breakfast and a lot of kids and families, not so couple-friendly therefore. Also the room were not good. It looked just as the picture but it was timeworn, the bathtub was rusty and the bed was hard as a rock. The ac was loud. We were not in the room so much because the beach was good. So it worked for us even though the room was bad.

Lovely place very friendly staff . Sea and scenery stunning. Food decent . Service was a bit slow but only because they were understaffed but those there worked amazingly hard . Did not want to come home .

Not 5 star hotel, but a great 3 star hotel. The staff is super hard working. The rooms and lobby are extremely dated. The pool and restaurant were recently updated and very nice- but an extreme contrast to your rooms. It was the most uncomfortable hotel room I had every stayed in. Double beds shoved together, threadbare towels, beach towels you had to use a laminated ticket to trade for them, the food at the restaurant was not up to a 5 star standard and over priced. No iron in the room and I had to ask for it and only allows 1 hour with it. Very weird. However the staff is soooo nice and the poolside and beach service are excellent. The sea water is nice and warm (bring water shoes big rocks) A good budget friendly option.

Einfach nur schön! Die Gartenanlage, der Pool, der feine Sandstrand, gekrönt von einem glasklaren Meer... Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und immer mit einem ehrlichen (!) Lächeln parat. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen! Unser Zimmer im Hauptgebäude entsprach zwar eher einem 4-Sterne-Niveau, da es vor Jahrzehnten gebaut wurde, war aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen wollen!

Nádherná a čistá pláž a more. Krásna záhrada. Plavecký a detský bazén. Hotel útulný čistý. Upratovanie á 3 dni. Milý a neskutočne ochotný personál. Animačný program.

Schöne Lage direkt am Meer! Das Wasser ist kristallklar! Schöne Gartenanlage mit Palmen! Das Hotel wirkt einladend! Der Pool wirkt eher wie ein Sportpool und nicht sehr passend für ein Urlaubshotel. Die streunenden Hunde - bellen laut, auch nachts - und Katzen sind lästig und stören beim essen.
