Not enough equipment for a family of 4

Large room! nice bed! Free Parking in the narrow street! Owner was nice, gave us bigger room! Beautiful common area! nice balcony and terrace! Easier to find! Owner gave us tips for exploring!

Breakfast was very low quality! Overall, It seems like a vacant place! reception was non-existent! the location not in a nice neighborhood! Many lights in the room was not working! The room door lock was not working! We didn't have the key for the main door! so everytime we have to knock!

The staff was very helpful. The interior of Riad is beautiful. Parking right in front of the property.Totally worth the price!!

The location was perfect, in the very medina of Fes, and the owner was very kind and helpful

The hotel is an authentic Moroccan road with a long history, unique look and antique furniture and decorations. Located in walking distance from the Fes tanneries and old medina. The host is a nice guy helping in with any questions and is a good communicator. We forgot an item in the room we stayed in and he managed to pass it from Fes to Agadir our next stay. Thanks a lot for assistance again! Cannot forget mentioning Fatima who is very helpful and serves a very nice breakfast.

The riad in general is beautiful and the staff were friendly. They were accommodating. We were provided with an extra blanket, towels, toilet roll and hand soap when requested. We were allowed to park our car on the street right outside the door. The breakfast was good They offered us free breakfast on our last day. There was no hard sell of tours. It is an old riad so the bathroom smell is expected and can be forgiven. Payment is taken on arrival but it is cash only. However the owners were understanding and allowed us a few days to get the cash out for payment.

The riad is located on the outskirts of the old city. The room was basic which is no problem for us but a deep clean is needed of the rugs and the headboard of the bed. The towels, the throw and the cushions on the bed had a very lived in smell. The pillow covers were put on inside out. In the bathroom the light towards the toilet was working but the mirror light and light towards the shower was not working and so the bathroom was dimly lit. The room my children slept in had no sockets and the TV was not functional. The policy on booking.com needs updating as it states covid certificate is needed.

The owner was really kind with us, he gave us all the information we needed and helped us with the taxi. I strongly suggest this Riad.

Beautiful building and apartments/rooms and stunning views from the roof. The most welcoming of staff who made us feel immediately at home. Very good communication throughout, a great breakfast that set us up nicely for the day. Parking at the door was ideal and just a couple of narrow streets from a main road. The immediate area is great for local street markets til well into the evenings and the Medina that tourists may be looking for is accessible in under 10 mins. Some have suggested the local area is a bit dodgy, our thoughts are that it’s catering for locals and that it may be different to expectations. We felt safe throughout with teens in tow and found some very good (and cheap) food within a few mins.

The map via booking.com was incorrect, however the one given via WhatsApp was spot on. My mistake was not to double check it directly in advance, but it was easily sorted when I made contact - definitely not a fault of the property, I mention it just to help others. Bathroom needs a bit of work.
