Mounthaven Guest House

Shaun and Rose were excellent hosts. Breakfast excellent. Location, walking distance down to harbour. We caught the bus back up the hill. Room was comfortable and clean.p

Made to feel very welcome. When we arrived he gave us cake & coffee on the terrace which we didn’t expect lovely. Room was excellent & the bathroom was amazing so nicely decorated & the shower easy to use & hot too

With Dave needing a new knee wasn’t good being up a hill but that wasn’t the b & b fault. Would have been nice to have been told about road works in Road as said road was closed. So was unsure if we could of drive down it or not

The most amazing views and our hosts were charming and beautifully cooked Breakfast

The breakfast was superb and there was a wonderful view over the dart estuary. It was so tranquil and I could have remained there for ever.

The bedroom was adequate and spotlessly clean with its own en suite the only thing that spoiled it was that it was a little small. This however would not stop me from booking again

Rose and Shaun are great hosts. Breakfast , cooked by Shaun if you wanted was also great. View from room was super. Room v comfortable.

Breakfast was very nice and generous. All served and no self helping. Homemade jams, yummy. We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere in the dining room and the interesting ornaments. The owners were very friendly and helped with local information. The view from the bedroom was absolutely stunning and lots of little extras made us feel very welcome. The owner even provided binoculars which we loved. The bed was very comfortable and large and we had a good sleep. Parking was also provided inside the property.

The coffee was a bit weak for our taste.

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent.
