The Victoria Inn

We went expecting disturbance due to being above a pub but it stayed quiet even on a Friday night. Location is on main bus route into town so driving could be avoided. Room was clean and comfortable. The only improvement required is the access to rooms which is around the back and past the kitchen door.

Had a family size room- very clean and comfy. Staff were attentive and helpful and breakfast offered several options.

Absolutely lovely stay and cannot praise Team enough. Hospitality, service, food, accommodation and cleanliness...simply Flawless. Arrived during, what was a busy Bank Holiday Weekend Service, with family of 5, only to be treated by all staff as if we were the only customers in the building.....High Praise as such professionalism throughout Team to be applauded!!! Carvery and Breakfast ample and delicious....Good Value & Thank You!!! Huss & Family

the staff were brilliant very friendly and couldn't do enough for you especially Debbie at breakfast and the breakfast is amazing everyday you will not be disappointed the location is ideal as you seem to be in the middle and not to far from anything the room itself was a very good sized family room which was nice and clean the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop there again next year

Staff were friendly. Good breakfast. Room was a little tired but had everything it needed. Noisy in evenings due to pub. Doors and windows rattled in the wind.

Centrally located and convenient to Truro, Falmouth, etc. Great breakfast included. Bar food very good and reasonably priced with pub-grub menu all day and carvery every lunchtime and evening. Staff helpful and friendly. Room (No 3) was small with twin beds that had rather soft mattresses. Let down by very dusty furniture tops and mirror frame. Carpet under beds hadn't been vacuumed for ages. En suite shower room was, by contrast, modern, clean and well-appointed - possibly recently upgraded. Only let down by lack of shaver point. Access was via path at rear of the kitchen, past food waste bins and then up an external metal staircase - not ideal and rather a let-down. Nevertheless this was good value for money - particularly at a time when accommodation was hard to find due to school holiday period.

Walk up stairs past exhaust from air conditioning to get to room.
