The Waterman

es war cool direkt über/in einem pub zu wohnen und abends dort bier zu trinken und dann direkt ins bett zu gehen :D wir konnten nachts sehr gut schlafen, da es wirklich ruhig war. von der unterkunft ist es ein kurzer schöner weg durch einen park ins zentrum.

Comfortable room, with everything I needed. Quite quirky, in a good way. Great location for central Cambridge. Nice bar and food. Friendly and helpful staff.

Took a while to work out how to just get hot water from the coffee machine.

Great location, only a short, lovely river walk to town. Comfy bed and friendly staff. Good facilities with a great fan in the bedroom and smart tv with all the apps such as Netflix, etc.

There is no parking nearby to unload. However, there is a car park at the Boathouse near the Waterman that is very cheap. Just be warned you will need to carry your luggage a bit of a distance. Coffee machine provided, but a kettle would be more useful so that there's a choice of tea or coffee.

The property is nice and welcoming. The room had a nice big bed. I appreciated the fancy coffee machine with capsules and the milk, as well as the water bottle. It’s spacious and comfortable.

The bathroom sink is remarkably small; it is actually quite hard to brush your teeth and very hard to wash your face. The shower is nice but there’s some dirt buildup between the tiles that could easily be scrubbed away. I think the overall cleaning is not perfect but very close.

Die Kombination aus urig-gemütlicher Unterkunft und direkter Anbindung an das Lokal. Extrem freundliches Personal, tägliche Reinigung, sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke.

Der Verkehrslärm ist gewöhnungsbedürftig - dafür logistisch super gelegen.

Shambolic. Booked table to watch Champions League final. Got a text the day before asking me to confirm the booking or to phone if I wanted to cancel or amend. Phone no in the text is a London no which doesn’t actually ring when you call it. I had also emailed previously to confirm something and ask a question but got no reply from the pub. Turned up today as planned to find their TVs aren’t working. No prior warning, they just let you rock up and find out with little time to make any alternative arrangements.
