Very clean and comfortable, very well located - 3 minutes from the main bus interchange to other parts of the Lake District and a 20 minute walk/10 minute bus to Lake Windermere. Great included breakfast!

Good location, staff eager to assist

Heritage listed (as most in the village) so no availability cooling. Despite a fan in our bedroom, (one floor up) the room was like an oven for the three days we stayed in the heat of summer.

"Overall it is a good choice."

The property is in very good condition and super clean. We had a good time visiting the Snowden mountain area. Very safe and convenient to drive around.

The property is built with wood and the floor makes a noice when people walking.

Location was perfect and so close to the bus interchange. Breakfast room and conservatory were lovely. Sausages were delicious! Good breakfast. Lovely view from the room. Lovely hot water.

Sash windows didn’t appear to be openable due to being painted.
