I am a regular client at the Hotel Arnika. If my first choice lodgings are unavailable I always opt for the Arnika and they have never let me down. It is a typical German daily run hotel, clean and efficient without being too ostentatious.
Good location, good food, clean room and helpful staff. The only shortfall was the weak wi-fi signal.
Friendly and well mannered stuff, eager to make sure the guest have all the comfort they need.
I like this small family like hotel. It is more of a Zimmer than an Hotel. Very nice, surrounded by great view, mountains, green field, flowing river in couple of minutes walk. friendly staff.
A great place, ideally located for relaxing walks in the mountains. Internet access a little limiting and could do with allowing use of portable cooling fans and irons in the rooms. Staff and food both great. Would stay again.
The hotel was well located a short walk to Oberammergau centre. The staff greeted us on arrival and made the stay very pleasant. The food was lovely and the scenery was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay in Oberammergau was way to short. The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. The family room was great for a family of 5 and very clean.Every morning we enjoyed a healthy breakfast buffet which started us of in the day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Arnika and would like to come back and stay longer. The area is beautiful and great for a lot of outdoor activities also the public swimming pool (Erlebnisbad)is not far from the hotel.
Overpriced, booked for two adults and wanted to ask for an additional bed for my 13 yrs old son, only to be charged 70 euros for a bunk bed in the same room. Ridiculous and when pointed out the mistake, the answer was that Travelocity was responsible for the extra charge and next time we should call the hotel and make reservation directly. So what is travel web sites for?
Loved our stay here. The private little balcony was a great surprise! Restaurant for dinner and breakfast provided great food and friendly staff. Wonderful shopping in the village! Loved the hotel and the village.
