Beautiful, clean, good staff and amazing location

The lunch was not so special. Don’t those the burger and it’s also expensive compared to what you get. It will be in top with gym facilities

Tranquility, authenticity and gardens. Rooms and terraces were cosy and gorgeous

The access road is awful and an exciting drive so a small hire car is essential. But we knew this and it just keeps the wrong sort away!

It's GORGEOUS! Peaceful, just sooo lovely. Sheep wandering above and below. Beautiful pool, and many beautiful areas to sit. And loved the patio off our room. Like many people said, the driveway is a huge issue. VERY rocky, narrow, only 1 lane for 2 cars. They REALLY need to fix it. It's scary and I refused to drive it after dark. The only other thing, I would say, the service for the price could be improved. Not the waitstaff, but the housekeeping. We got water for our room the first day and after that it was non existent. My daughter and I carted all of our huge suitcases up a bunch of stairs when we arrived. Just small things like that that should have been done, would be nice. Also, no food service at the pool. Just a little fridge where you grab sodas and sign a form. Some snacks and beverages poolside would be a nice addition. With all that being said, though, I still highly recommend!

This hotel is one of the prettiest hotels we ever stayed at. We loved the landscaping and the rooms. Note: the drive up can be hairy at times and parking was at times difficult when dinner hour is happening but the hotel itself can’t be beat. Would love to come back for another stay

Location and views were incredible, gardens and pool area were stunning. Very relaxed vibe.

Difficult at times to get a drink, the service felt very confused and often the restaurant / hotel felt understaffed. I feel when we checked they could have explained the parking and the bar situation better.

Amazing Hotel, gives the sense of a hidden gem to its visitors. The best thing about the hotel is the beautiful location (Not easy to reach but that played into its charm). Also beautiful building, outdoor dining areas, and pool. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. One day it rained and we hand to dine indoors, it was also a very nice setting. Barretes restaurant for lunch and dinner was amazing too.

No room slippers which you would expect from such a property.
