Great value for the price. Location is close to the historical center and area is very quiet.

This is a lovely little hotel which is stylish and clean. The bedrooms are lovely, our bathroom was huge and the breakfast was extremely good. It's quiet and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The only down side is that it's a good twenty minutes walk from the old historic centre, which can be quite tiring in the heat. You can, of course, get taxis cheaply to and from the main tourist areas, but it does make exploring these areas more of an effort. If you do stay here, be sure to walk along the harbour to get to the historic centre, as this is a much nicer walk than the one recommended by staff.

Amazing little hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the free breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Not having a pool was definitely a downside as well the rooms could use a mini fridge to keep beverages cold. Was within walking distance for the Old City which was nice as well but it was enough off the beating path that the neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely recommend to other couples

I chose this hotel mainly because it had great reviews for a place that didn't cost much. However, when we got there the front desk staff didn't know anything at all about the area we were in: no places we could go eat or excursions we could partake in. All they could tell us was to go to El Centro. The breakfast wasn't as great as the other reviews claimed and they offered the same exact thing every day; eggs, cereal or a sandwich. There was no room service as advertised. We were charged for two slices of bread and some butter at night that the front desk had to go and get because there was NO one else there at night. They never offered dinner services and didn't mention if there was any to begin with. What really bothered me is that I left great tips for the housekeeper and they never changed the sheets on the bed!!!! It wasn't until the third day that my girlfriend noticed that the pillowcases were still stained with her hair dye. The pool didn't work. Privacy was suppperrr sketchy because the blinds on the door windows were see through and staff would walk by and look!!!! There was never a manager on the property. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. The main disappointment was the extremely poor service. We didn't expect the utter lack of care exhibited by the staff.

I chose this hotel because of its location and I was happy with it since I didn’t want to be in the walled city. The main issue we had was they made us stay in a queen bedroom (with one pillow and they didn’t have any other pillow when requested one) the first night when we had a king reserved for the whole stay. When I asked for a refund they said they didn’t do it. The king room where they moved us had a bathroom upstairs with some pretty steep stairs which it wasn’t a problem with us but I would not raccomend if you have any problem with stairs. Also my room key broke by me just turning it and they charged me for it even tho they didn’t refund us for making stay in a smaller bedroom.

All 8 of us felt the hotel and it's location couldn't have been better. It was only a few blocks away from the harbour and a 20 minute walk to the old historic city. Grocery stores and small restaurants close bye. The hotel was quiet and served great breakfasts. The staff were very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to visit.

There are a few nice things to say about this hotel so I would like to start with what we appreciated about it. First off the appearance of the hotel from the outside is nice. The brick and castle style of the place is really cool looking. The lobby is also nice with a little indoor garden and elegant tile structure that runs behind . The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The biggest disappointment for us was that the hotel advertised a pool and was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel, but the hotel doesn't have a pool. We checked into the hotel in the early evening expecting that we could relax with a beer next to our pool. When we got to the hotel, put on our bathing suits, and couldn't find the pool we asked at the front desk. He informed us that the owner had moved into the unit next door and that it's now his private pool. With our swimming suits on, you can image our disappointment. The staff member told us that they offer packages where they could take us to another hotel to go to a pool. We're supposed to pay to get to and use a pool at another hotel when we are expecting one to be included??? No no, we'll pass. Unlike other hotels that we stayed at staff wasn't helpful and no services were offered. We asked the staff for advise on several different things including: where we could go to eat, where we could buy a charger for our phone, where we could find a convenience store, and where we could find a pharmacy.
