Hotel Casa Castel

While it's a 20 minute walk to the old city, is recommend the hotel for being great value for money, with spacious clean rooms, with aircon. Quite hard to find though ... they could do with putting up a decent sign!

The staff delivered a polite professional service. The hotel was situated in a cul de sac. Consequently it was quiet and conducive for a good night sleep. The breakfast fare was good and healthy.

The staff was great. There is no pool. The room (1) was large. Water was hot. Breakfast was good. I also used there computer to make travel plans.

This is a small family hotel in the Getsemani district about 300 from the seafront. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated and furnished with traditional furniture that increases the homely quality. The WiFi and air conditioning were both good and the breakfast - served at the tables in the small restaurant - was tasty and good quality.

We arrive early and we’re allowed to stay in their lounge which was fist class and very comfortable. They even provided us with a late breakfast and coffee. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Fantastic experience! The hotel is located near everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The property is beautiful, providing an intimate, "at home" experience. Meals have the care and taste of "home cooked." The staff make this property the top shelf experience, and great value searched for by travelers. From reminding guests of appointments, to making excursion arrangements, and the genuine friendliness of each staff member, this staff truly goes above and beyond. I will be returning to Castel on my next visit to Cartagena.

Hotel Castel Cartegena was a perfect place for us. The hotel itself is unique, small, quiet and welcoming. The walk to Cartegena is through a lovely green space well used by walkers, runners etc.

Really nice people and excellent breakfast quiet, well to do neighborhood about 10 mins from center/Okd City. Recommended!

Perfect Hotel in the quiet residential neighborhood of Manga. 2 min walk to the Harbor for a nice view of all the sail boats and the skyline of Bocagrande and 20min walk to the old city. Excellent breakfast and service. Will recommend without hesitation.
