Slack Cottage

This property is located in a tranquil area with a stunning view of Windermere, our room was very spacious and there is nothing to fault.

We have no dislikes, it was the perfect stay.

The views were stunning, lovely breakfast.

We both found Liz extremely rude and lack of people skills most evident on a number of occasions and to be greeted with " Are you compus mentus ?" Was extremely condescending and offensive!!!!! Chris was more accommodating but still took the shine off our 3 day stay at a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

Beautiful cottage tucked away close to the lake, which you can walk down to. The view from the bedroom window was gorgeous. Super hosts, very knowledgable and every need catered for - even a warming sherry if you wanted. Breakfast was high quality fresh local produce, from continental to full English.

There was nothing not to like.

Great location and comfy bed. Direct access to the lake via the property. Good price and brilliant conversation with one of the hosts during breakfasts. Option of continental or English breakfast at preset times.

We didn't feel entirely welcome on arrival. TV not the biggest, although not a big issue as we were mostly out and about.
