"Lovely, quiet location with great views."

Excellent breakfast, good shower, comfortable bed. And most of all very friendly and helpful hosts. Remote but superb location near to the Windermere lakeside. Fantastic view from bedroom window across Windermere to the Fairfield Horseshoe (see photo).

Negotiating the narrow lanes in the dark and rain was an interesting challenge.

Location on the quiet side , and off the beaten track

When we arrived we were meet by Liz Lane and given strictly instructions on locking the door , the shown to room where there is a 'guest book ' with a list of dos and DONTS

"Very comfortable great breakfast"

It was out in the countryside and we saw deers

The owners telling us they went to bed at 9. The telly and WiFi didn’t work. We weren’t allowed more than 2 to a room so our daughter wasn’t allowed in our room

Great location just a short drive from Ambleside. The room was beautiful. Hosts were wonderful and accomodating. Breakfasts were lovely.
