The Hawkley Inn

A little piece of heaven, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, the vibe was great with the garden buzzing with people having fun at 4.30 in the afternoon. The food was of a far higher calibre than expected and we were so glad we had booked as their fame has clearly spread in this regard. We stayed in the Cowdray room, which was just perfect with a really comfy bed and nice sunny double aspect and very luxuriously furnished with appreciated little touches such as the chocolates on the bed, something you only normally get in top hotels., The quality of the food continued into breakfast which was just as good as the breakfast my husband cooks me at home - a very rare thing !! Excellent value for money and a truly lovely stay. I thoroughly recommend and we hope to visit again soon.

I loved the location in a beautiful part of rural england but within easy reach of Goodwood for the festival of speed. The food was amazing and a good choice was available for breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with everything we needed and I had a great sleep in the lovely bed waking up to bird song.

Great stay lovely place and service only one observation . The 5pm check in time is way way to late for any establishment

What a great place, food is amazing, staff are awesome and they have a nice selection of beers too. I stay here often and will continue to do so.

Very friendly, imaginative food, comfortable room. Quite noisy at night, with the rooms over the bar area, but no more than you'd expect. Good breakfast. Would happily stay there again
