The Hawkley Inn

Extremely comfortable accommodation with excellent food in the restaurant.

I booked the Hawkley Inn for a weekend stay as we were going to a wedding nearby. Our room was gorgeous, bed was very comfy and the bathroom was extremely clean. The towels had been arranged into the shape of a swan- just little extra details that made us feel special. It was really busy when we arrived so there wasn’t any parking outside the pub but we parked further down the village without a problem. We ate dinner there on the first night, lots of choice and our food was delicious. Breakfast is fab too - so much choice and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. All in all it’s just a perfect place for a weekend in the countryside.

Went to visit our son, in nearby town used the inn to stay the night. Loved the place from the moment we walked in.

Fantastic place with brilliant rooms and good food. Went out of their was to accomodate our early start to get to goodwood. Food was fab and staff organised and friendly. Thank you !

Nice room - with bath - good for walkers. Great food, lovely staff and fab breakfast, all in a "proper pub."

My wife and I stayed at the Hawkley Inn on Saturday the 14th July 2018, after spending a day at the nearby Chamneys Forest Mere Spa. We loved everything about our stay here, from the food, to the room, the location, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff and owners.............not to mention great value for money! We have stayed at many pubs / Inns over the years, and I've got to say, The Hawkley Inn is amongst, if not THE best we have stayed at. They have a fine and vast selection of local Ales, beers, Gins, Wines, etc, and the food is unbelievable!!! it really is! The locals were all very friendly too. The only thing I would fault about our whole trip, is that we didn't spend more time at the Hawkley Inn. We only booked one night, but in hindsight we would have booked 2 or 3. But I'm sure we will be back.

Comfortable, good atmosphere and excellent food

A little gem of a place to stay

Check in was welcoming and easy to find. We booked a table for dinner, the food was excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cosy, however our one complaint was the room was far too hot with a noisy bathroom radiator.
