Breakfast was good. Nice assortment of items to choose from: bagels, hard-cooked eggs, muffins, yogurt and granola and the ever important coffee for my wife.

The room was nice. Very sunny, very pretty.

The breakfast was lacking. The reason I will never return is because our room was right above the bar. The bar that had a live band!! A loud, live band! For the price of the room, I expected a better breakfast and a lot less noise.

"The inn was great and Essex is just beautiful, thinking about when to go again for a longer stay."

The atmosphere was awesome, we loved all of the historical art and the crooked floors!

Bed could be a bit more comfortable and we had a hard time hearing each other at dinner in the loud restaurant.

We very much enjoyed the breakfast. There was plenty just select from. And the location was excellent.

The radio/ charging device was broken and we were unable to charge our phones. We stayed in two different rooms. It was the second room that had the problem.
