"友人の家のようなホテル"

8.0

入口が分かりにくく、エレベーターがないが、ホストの対応は友人のようで良かった。タクシーを呼ぶのには不向き。空港へ行くタクシーを30分以上待ってしまったが、ホストがフォローしてくれた。

"Durchmessen"

6.0

The Price was okay, homeowners were friendly and the place itself was overall clean and easy to find. Nevertheless, the Wifi is really dissapointing and poor, we did not have any connection in our room and sometimes it didn't work. Also the breakfast wasn't really good. The bread was old and the variety is not really satisfied (no eggs etc.). The bed downstairs was not comfotable. Also, the apartment is badly soundproofed.

"Geweldige dagen"

8.0

"Nice apartments, perfect as a base"

8.0

Very nice hotel, I have stayed there for couple of night on my Sicily vacation. But we have a bit trouble to find the location for the frst time when we have arrived and it was already dark. Also not that easy to park here. After dark there are a lot of so called "assistants", just give them 0,50 or 1 € and that is it. Rooms were surprisingly spacey, very clean and comfortable. For that price we were really surprised. Breakfast was included, and sufficient. There is a nice terrace for breakfast or jsut to have a drink in the evening but the A/C outputs are placed there - not very good solution, so it is not very comfortable to sit here. Wi-Fi does not work in my room, just at the reception. Stuff was perfect and nice, but very limited English. Also they are not here all the time so keep the room key with you. Hotel is very good solution as a base for getting to know the city. Not that far from the center. A lot of tratorias and bars and restaurants around. All in all nice place, bit hard to spot for the first time.

"Good location, nice rooms and good price"

10.0

We stayed there for 4 nights and had excursions in Cefalu, Afrigento and Castelamare. It has all you need - nice bathroom, good beds and the rooms are charming and nice size. Free parking is just 50 m away. For breakfast dont expect much. Every day they serve juice, coffe, tea and great croissant.

"Good Palermo Base"

8.0

The Jardin de France provides a good base for a short stay in Palermo. The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. Only minor issues are the stairs (no lift), the very basic breakfast and lack of toiletries.

"Really nice rooms, good location, but....."

8.0

This hotel is located in the most beautful part of the old part of Palermo, on a narrow street where you don't believe that you can find a hotel. The main gate is totally anonymous, and that feeling continues when you get inside the house. And then you have to get yourself up to the third flloor. But once you're there, you notice that it's actually a hotel. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and well maintained. If you're looking for a romantic place to stay, this is it. The owner is a really nice and service-minded man. If you need a pick-up from the airport, he'll arrange it. I liked the place, but wouldn't stay there again due to the security. On the downside, is a really important thing. In case of emergency, you can't get out of there without real trouble. There are no emergency lights in the staircase and it's hard to even find the door that leads to it, if it's dark outsie. If you manage to get yourself downstairs without breaking a leg or two in the darkness, the next problem is the gate. It opens with a button, which of course is supported by electricity. So, if the electricity is gone, you either need your key to open the gate from inside, or you're trapped. When I stayed there, the electricity went out several times. I was lucky to have a torch app in my mobile, otherwise it would have been totally dark. I tried to talk to the owner about this issue, but he simply ignored it. I don't know about the rules in Italy, but in Sweden where I come from, you couldn't run a business like this without thinking about security.
