Sun Grove Villas & Spa

The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. We like the location, as it is in a quieter part of the resort but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. The host provided clear instructions for entry/departure and also provided a spa pass for a nearby hotel, which was an added bonus

Well laid out Villa with all you need to make your holiday enjoyable. Pool was clean and area well kept. There are a lot of cats in the area and they pass through the property or sleep in the garden. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Spare towels and sheets should you need them. The area is a cul de sac and some residential properties, and it’s quiet too.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but you need to be aware that it takes 25-30 minutes to walk to beach or town. However it only costs 4 euros for a taxi home.

The villa was immaculately clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The villa was spacious. The outside space was amazing. Lots of space, a dining area with shade and a super roof terrace. Communication with the host and they reacted quickly to any queries we had. We paid extra to have the pool heated, which was great. A lovely quiet area of Playa Blanca. A 20 minute walk into the center. We had a taxi back every evening, just under 5 Euros. Would stay again.

Clean, spacious villa with comfortable beds and furnishings. We paid to have the pool heated and it was well worth the extra as we spent a lot of time just relaxing in or around it.

Nothing really. You can walk to the seafront/marina areas but it's a decent hike on a hot day, so a rental car is advisable.

Waste dumped at the rear of the property

Clean villa. Much nicer in real life than it seems on the pictures. Pool was really warm and felt like a bath which was amazing. So lovely. Loved having two bathrooms which I didn’t realise we would have.

Only one key for every door was a pain. Two would help. Lighting in the bedrooms is poor, hard to get ready with such poor lighting. Needs ceiling lights or brighter lamps ideally. Ideally bathroom (en-suite) needs window covers as next door could see in from their outside stairs when I was in the bath. A pool net to get out the leafs would be helpful.

Great location. Clean. The pool was checked every few days, tha linens were changed once a week. We had private pool and grill. Even the tabs for the dishwasher and for the washing mashine were included.

The villa is very well appointed in terms of equipment and facilities within it. It was definitely worth paying for the pool to be heated which was set at such a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. But without a doubt, the highlight of this villa is the support from the managing company that comes with it. We had to report an issue relating to a lack of hot water but the speed with which it was resolves was mind-blowing.

There's a few small ants around in the property. No big deal apart from them taking residence in one of the beds. Easily resolved though.
