The Holman Grand Hotel

Excellent location. within walking distance of everything i needed.

We flew in from Alberta for a family wedding and found the location very convenient. Being able to access the Confederation Centre without having to go outside was a big plus. The room size and amenities were perfect, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we experienced was with regulating the heat in our room. The temperature wouldn’t go above 20.2°C unless we left the lights on, and one night we had to sleep fully clothed because the room was so cold. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable.

Location was excellent, valet parking is nice, staff were all very friendly.

Hated the light in the room. Aside from the blinking smoke detector there was a motion-activated night light by the door in my room that kept flashing on and off all night long, hotel staff were unable to fix it so I had to stack pillows up against it to block it out. Also didn't love the giant frosted window on the bathroom door, no privacy and someone using the bathroom during the night lights up the entire room. Pool/hot tub was out of order for some of my stay (I paid more to stay here than other properties because of the facilities and then couldn't use them).
