Base Airlie Beach Resort - Hostel

The room was clean enough, however the bathroom wasn't. The were no windows or ventilation in the bathroom, the toilets stunk. There was a tampon wrapper left in the corner of the toilet. Not very impressed! Room itself was fine.

Terrible terrible terrible. Took an extremely long time to check in, we got in our room and it was filthy. The bed sheets were still wet and the bathroom was absolutely disgraceful, we even checked in three hours after check in time and it was still disgusting. 0/10 would not recommend

Hostel was okay, stayed before and after sailing trip - both rooms were okay, but second had broken light in bathroom. Could be cleaner in the shower area. Good location though, right next to a good bar and close to the lagoon. Loads of things available to book in reception too. As per most hostels, they charge extra and deposits on anything they can.

Room was basic and roomy for 6 people. Location was excellent location for backpackers. Name of hostel should say hostel Not resort

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was big and clean, and the hostel was next to the shops and the lagoon. One disadvantage, there were no cooking things... Only 1 really bad skillet/pan...

Right in the centre of Airlie with more than you'd expect from a typical backpackers

Cheap and convenient to lagoon as on main street. Quiet and good group of backpackers in my room. Messy but that is to be expected of most backpackers. En suite so nice and easy.

Brilliant Everything.........From the helpful friendly staff, (especially Charlotte) to the spotlessly clean mixed dorm in which I (lone traveller of 50) I shared with 2 lovely young men. Swimming pool beautifully shaded, clean as a whistle, kitchen & luggage room a major bonus.
