Pension Stella

George and Stella are warm and welcoming. They gave us valuable info and many ideas for things to do during our stay. There is a wonderful restaurant, Katerina, and bakery, Erotikos, very near. The supermarket is also very close. Short walk to bus stop where you can catch a bus anywhere, 10-15 minutes walk to Fira but so much more peaceful than Fira.

Clean rooms, George and Stella were very helpful in recommending places to go, things to do in Santorini. However, Katerados is a bit of a walk to Fira where the views, shopping, and most of the places to eat are. Maybe spend the extra money on a room in Fira with the caldera view to be closer to the activity of Fira and Oia. Overall, good stay.

We loved our stay at Pension Stella and would definitely recommend to family and friends. George and Stella are the owners and from the moment we arrived they took care of us. It was high season and every person they met they were warm and kind with and took the time to ensure that they felt they were priority number one. Stella made amazing breakfasts for us on their patio, they stored our luggage for us, helped coordinate our days to maximize our time, helped us rent an ATV, picked us up and dropped us off from the airport (with minimal fees). Our room was clean and the pool area was immaculate. The location is a bit out of Fira but just a short walk and VERY close to the bus stop. It was quite and lovely. Even up until we were leaving George was helping guests. There was a girl looking for a place to stay and they were booked so he generously called around, found a place and escorted her to the nearest one. This experience beats any hotel chain and we would come back again. Thank you George and Stella!

Excellent budget hotel with great hosts! The host George and his wife Stella do their best to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Travelling with a family of 4 with small kids, it was very relaxing for me to know that I can ask George/Stella for any help any time. Rooms also were very spacious and clean.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Great location with a 15 minute walk to Fira or you can catch a local bus from close to hotel. George picked us up from the hotel and spent time with us to explain the bus routes and attractions.

We had a short but amazingly day at Pension Stella. George was so nice and helpful! He picked us up from the airport at 3:15 am the morning and took us to the port at 6 am. We were so grateful considering the early hours. The property was so nice and only a 15 minute walk to Fira. Would love to travel back one day. Thank you for everything!!

Pension Stella and the owners were great. It is very close to a bus stop that takes you to the key spots on the island, and very walkable to the main town, Fira.

Pension Stella was very comfortable, clean, and extremely affordable. The location is, in my opinion, the best on the island-- totally central so Oia in the north and Kamari Beach in the south are quickly accessible, but not right downtown in Fira, so it's quieter. Only about a 10 min walk to Fira. George and Stella give it a personal touch! They drove us to and from the airport and set up a tour of the island for us. The best budget hotel I've ever stayed in-- clean, comfortable, central, and a great pool. It could be a bit loud at night when other guests came in because there are only 5 or 6 hotel rooms and they're all right together, but it wasn't terrible. I will be back!

Great experience! The included pickup from the airport was very helpful and George gave us great advice about the area, provided a little map and suggested some things to see and what might be closed or with different hours because we were there in the "off season". The room was very clean and had a nice little patio area. The bakery just up the road was perfect for breakfast (or anytime, they're open 24 hours/day!) and it's also an easy walk to Fira (about 15 minutes). It worked perfectly for our stay--I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!

Owner picked us up from the airport. Pension is located walking distance from Tira. Room was good size, clean. Stayed very short time, but definitely will stay there again.
