Osborne Hotel

De afstand tot het centrum is ver en de groote van de kamer en badkamer, die zijn klein. Twee koffers kun je niet kwiijt zonder erover te struikelen.Het is meer een locatie voor oudere mensen. Kamer met douche én bad is gewoon een douchekop in t bad. Niet handig als je wat ouder bent.

The quality of the food both for dinner and breakfast was excellent and by far the best aspect of our stay.

The exterior impression of the hotel and that promoted by your website is very misleading. The Regency crescent is in fact primarily timeshare apartments and private dwellings with a small 33 bed hotel sandwiched in the middle. Given the age of the building, it is acceptable that it is looking tired but there is evidence of lack of attention. The pool is fine but unlike many similar hotels lacks a sauna, steam room or jacuzzi. For a 4 star hotel I would expect cloth tablecloths in the restaurant and staff in uniform. We stayed at the Headland Hotel just up the road last year and seeing the Osborne from the outside expected it to be better, sadly it wasn’t.

The view from the hotel was stunning and breakfast excellent. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again
