"Beautiful Hotel with big, clean rooms and great facilities"

Exceptional room, really large. Really spacious bathroom too. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. (Please clean the TV remote in Pengally though as it was dirty) Towels huge and super soft. Pools were a bonus No issue parking. It’s easier to use the overflow at the back of the hotel Nice cooked breakfast and plenty of continental choice Took about 20 minutes to walk to town and there is quite a hill but I enjoyed the walk

Chairs in breakfast room/restaurant really stained and I feel it lets the hotel down considering how clean the room, facilities and exterior are.

"Toller historischer Bau an der englischen Riviera"

Das Hotelgebäude ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Lage mit Meerblick ist auch toll. Wir waren auf der Durchreise - dafür hat uns das Hotel ganz gut gefallen.

Das Frühstück war wirklich mehr als enttäuschend. Und leider ist der Gesamtzustand des Hotels auch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Z.B. könnten mal wieder Fenster geputzt werden.

Location very good. Building impressive. Room with a sea view really had that. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Food good.

The dining room rather dated.....felt a bit gloomy. Menu ok but repetitious.

The location and staff

Our room felt damp and smelt damp the windows were filthy due to condensation and not dried off could not see out of them .when ordering our dinner on the first night was told there was no beef,then ordered 2 scampi they only had 1. So settled for fish and chips and 1 scampi when arrived scampi was overcooked,so not great.
