Unfriendly welcome, cheap sliced bread and tinned fruit at breakfast, the hotel taking £25 per night off my card and not refunding for up to 10 days

"A Grand Hotel not far from the Shore."

Lovely looking Hotel front with a great view. The staff were very helpful. There was a good choice for breakfast and the room was a good size and clean.

Limited room for parking close to the Hotel. Hopefully the rear of the Hotel will be improved with the ongoing work.

Le petit-déjeuner. La propreté de la chambre. Pas d'avis à donner pour le parking car nous n'avions pas la voiture et nous n'avons pas essayé les deux piscines car pour celle de l'extérieur il faisait trop froid et celle de l'intérieur ne fonctionnait pas le premier jour. Dans l'ensemble le séjour s'est bien passé mais l'hôtel a vraiment besoin d'un rafraîchissement.

Le matelas trop mou. Personnel pas motivé et pas toujours très accueillant à part deux personnes. Un peu loin du centre à pied. Restaurant trop cher pour la qualité des plats proposés.

"Een lief Brits hotel als je ook Brits wil ontbijten. Voor echte 4 sterren moet je er niet zijn."

Het personeel is heel aardig. De kamer lag heel rustig en het bed was zeker goed.

Het ontbijt is Engels. Zo Engels dat ze niet begrijpen als je iets anders dan jam op het brood wilt. Het ontbijt is uiterst mager als je niet-Brits bent. Ook wat viezerig allemaal in die ontbijt zaal. De entree van het hotel is ronduit shabby. Jammer, want de ligging is prachtig!
