Osborne Hotel

Location was excellent, great views.

The whole place is dated, wall paper is letting loose everywhere. Reception staff not very friendly. We asked to use the outdoor swimming pool, got a key to open gate but had to found out no towel were available at the pool.

Friendly welcome, great view out to sea, outdoor pool was open and lovely, high ceilings, large room, efficient service at breakfast, airy and relaxing vibe throughout.

Single staff member in the outdoor bar on a hot afternoon meant long queues to get a drink and quite sticky tables. Tables in breakfast room were also quite sticky. Breakfast seemed like it had been kept warm for a while rather than freshly cooked. Omelette was very overcooked and dry. Coffee did not taste like coffee.

Uitzicht was prachtig( kamer met uitzicht zee) vetvlek wel Portugal, met de rotsen en palmbomen, heel mooi. Het was jammer genoeg nog te koud voor het zwembad. Goed ontbijt

Door een trouwfeest was er toch wel wat lawaai en een drukte die niet paste bij de sfeer van het hotel. Maar we wisten dat er een evenement mogelijk was dus het viel wel mee. Het binnen zwembad dat niet gratis toegankelijk was.

The pool was the perfect temperature to cool off at the end of a hot day. The room was clean and comfortable with bottled water on arrival and replenished each day. The breakfast was well prepared, served hot by wonderfully attentive staff.

Parking is a lottery. You might get a space, you might have to park well away from the hotel in random street.

We had a wonderful stay at Osborne Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking sea views from the room. The large windows provided uninterrupted views of the coastline, making it a pleasure to wake up each morning and relax in the evenings. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a soft bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. The food was another standout feature. The quality and variety of the meals exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel throughout our stay.

The hotel also offers parking, which is a valuable convenience. However, finding a parking space can sometimes be challenging, especially during busy period. There are a few areas where the experience could be improved. A refrigerator in the room would have been very useful, particularly during warmer weather or for families staying multiple nights. Additionally, while the indoor swimming pool is a nice facility, the supporting amenities could be enhanced. The pool area lacks proper changing rooms and convenient bathroom facilities, and towels were not readily available, which made the experience less comfortable than expected.

Beautiful location with sea views

Lovely quiet room despite a wedding party taking place, very clean and well-equiped, made to feel very welcome and as a repeat visitor this hotel gets better and better. Excellent cooked breakfast to order. Staff exceptionally helpful.
