Sunscape Dorado Pacifico Ixtapa Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

This is s 3.5 star hotel, needs lots of improvement, especially in the food options and facility maintenance. Nice beach though

If you like pickleball, this is the resort for you. 4 courts and organized play with players from other resorts. The food and service is good. Not enough loungers in the shade. People have the ones in the shade reserved by 6am. They should move a few to the grassy area under the palm trees where the nightly shows are. Also if a loungers has not been used for 2 hours they should be made available. It's 90 degrees and you burn very fast. The water is very rough, but you can take the bus to beaches with calmer water

las bebidas estan muy por debajo de lo esperado tanto en calidad y sabor y cero areas para los fumadores. asi como se respetan los derechos de los que no fuman tambien los fumadores tenemos derechos

My husband and I chose this hotel to celebrate his birthday and our first wedding anniversary, which fall on the same week, and we did not regret it! We loved the hotel, its facilities, the staff, the food, everything! From the moment we arrived til the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and happy, and we were treated exceptionally! We would love to stay here again in the future!

The only thing that we weren't very satisfied with was the Wi-Fi. We couldn't connect to it because it was always saturated, but we didn't really need it because we had already decided to use our phones minimally, so it wasn't a huge problem. It instead helped us stay off the internet.

En general es bueno, las áreas limpias, las habitaciones son cómodas solo con algunos detalles de falta de mantenimiento, el acceso a la playa es muy cómodo y las albercas limpias, el personal se esmera en una buena atención. Los detalles en contra, si es temporada alta hay que hacer fila en los comedores, particularmente para desayunar en el buffet, la comida cumple, sin llegar a ser muy buena, el restaurante italiano es rico, pero la carta es muy limitada. Lo peor, el horario de las actividades, a las 5:00pm ya no hay actividades de juegos, tenis, etc. ya que a esa hora se van los animadores, la alberca la cierran a las 7:00pm, por lo cual después de ese horario no hay mucho que hacer para niños y jovenes. Para adultos solo el Bar.

El staff muy hamable, el hotel es chico y muy comodo.

We had a great time. Upgraded to the Sunclub. Great room on 21 floor with an ocean view. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was amazing. Sunclub beach and lounge area was excellent and worth the upgrade. Having the private upgraded beach area and private restaurant and bar was wonderful. We got to know the amazing Sunclub Lounge staff who looked after us every day & Odette, Alicia, Emmanuel, Ignacio, Misael and Pedro. The sand is amazing, water is clean. The only downside is the surf was rough but we walked down to the end of the beach by the rocks to swim and it was lovely.

Enjoyed every breakfast and most lunches at the Beach Sunclub. All the staff were excellent! Alicia was welcoming and very helpful with our food choices, and trying to help us out with our Spanish. Waiters Emmanuel,Ignacio and Misael were also very attentive and fun to chat with. Bar tender Pedro kept my husband happy with top shelf drinks and my special blended drinks of the day. Hostess Odette was always smiling and welcoming to greet and seat you at the table of your choice.

Third time at resort so knew what to expect on arrival. Welcome staff are great and manage large crowds on check in really well, we were Sunclub and got special check in privileges. Oceanfront Sunclub Family suite offers best ocean view out of two large balconies, curtains are melting in hot sun falling apart only issue with room. King bed offers firm mattress and nice pillow, allows for a comfortable sleep at night. During our stay the air conditioning broke down, 1st day hotel advised all guests of issue and was fixed on second night. This was not fault but was a terrible two days and nights out of our stay. Hotel is in need of a renovation, Hyatt needs to invest some pesos on this place to keep the many returning guests coming back. Food is average nothing exceptional to mention. Highlights: location, beach and friendly staff. Shout out to our Amigo Giovanni at the beach, always laughing and goes extra mile to learn everyone’s name. At main restaurant we had privilege of being served by Aylin. Loved her she was so friendly and always helpful and took care of us each time we were there. Nice resort and great location, worth staying if you do not have high expectations. Lots of options for having good meals within walking distance of hotel. It’s a fun resort for mature adults and resort is popular with Mexican families.
