Beaver Dam Lodge

I never leave reviews but unfortunately need to in this instance: We booked Beaver Dam Lodge last minute while on a roadtrip. It was $300 and the room was completely filthy, with excrement smeared in the toilet. The photos show a pool, it is not in commission, rather, was filed with stillwater and rusted metal. The ice machine was broken, the ac barely functioned. Check it was only available for a five hour window and yet the Lodge accepted our booking an hour before it closed (the check in window is not listed on hotels.com.) I doubt this place sees any return customers.

The location.

No food or coffee available. Could not use the patio if the office was closed. Walls were very thin and could hear everything so no privacy.

No breakfast. Coffee pot wasn't to clean. No breakfast available in the main area.

Convenient place to stay while on our roadtrip

Toilet should have been cleaned or replaced if brown streaks no longer can be cleaned. Everything about the place and in the room seemed very old. Also there was no one there when we arrived to check in and the entire place was locked w/ lights off!

It's a quite nice place feels like home the people where really nice n answered all my questions the bed was really hard n seemed old and the price was a little expensive but other than that it was a great place to stay n I'll be going back

This property was reasonably priced and easy to find right off the interstate. Very quiet

This is an old golf resort which has more recently become an rv park with golfing. The hotel is dated and we were the only people in a hotel room. There was old furniture stored in what used to be a hotel lobby and the bedding was as old as the last remodel which seemed to have happened in the 80’s. There is no place to eat nearby. The one person staff had many jobs but was nice. It was an odd place but okay for the money.
