Century Royal Hotel

The location is great, and the breakfast is good too. However, the staff was not careful, I was given a wrong room key (yes, still a key), which was a much smaller room than I booked, and it was already occupied!!!! Fortunately the guest was out, and I left the room immediately to get the key changed. I felt so unsecured for the whole time I stayed there. And the whole property is rather worn out, with a very 70ish interior design.

It’s winter with heavy snow. This hotel has an underground link from JR Sapporo Station. You don’t have to fight with cold winter at street level to travel from station to hotel. However please take note that the direct lift to hotel from this underground link has opening hours. If I am not wrong they close early on weekends. Please check with signage near the lift. Highly recommended. All amenities of hotel are clean and good.

Close to train, subways restaurants stuff to see and do

Great location. Near train stations, shopping malls, restaurants. Room size typical for Japan but beds and pillows very hard.

Beautiful property, close to everything, friendly staff. The hotel has several high-end restaurants, bars and a family mart on location. As I checked-in, I was given a voucher for a free drink at the hotel bar. Also connected to Sapporo station through an underground passage, so you don’t have to be cold

Great location next to the train station. Several people commented that the hotel is difficult to find from the station. My advice is to exit the west gate of the station, turn left and head outside. Walk towards the street and look up. You will see the hotel to the right and can walk to it in two minutes. Easier than the underground route posted on the hotel’s website and also doesn’t involve any stairs. The hotel was fine, though a little overpriced. Rooms are a good size, but you can tell the age of the hotel. Our room was uncomfortably hot and we could not get it to cool down. Front desk was helpful, but not as friendly as other hotels we stayed at. Restaurant staff were great. I recommend the Japanese breakfast.

Great location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff!!

Worst hotel ever. I booked a room, paid $200 in Sapporo where most hotels average $50-$80 thinking I will pay up for a nice room. Instead got put in a tiny corner room with dim lighting and double bed. Plus, people in the halls running and screaming and partying until 3am so did not sleep. When complained said I can pay $200 more for a normal room. What a total rip off. Disgusting.

I love it. It is near everything. It offers a cell phone!
