My expectations were not high after reading some previous reviews of this place. But my real experience wasnt that bad. It is an average three star hotel in Austrian countryside. It is quite big - you will meet many international guests, most of them stay just for overninght on a car or bike trip. Apparently there are two types of rooms - the first relatively new and renovated, the second a bit older - but still OK. Do not expect a standard of more than three stars. I appreciate a big parking lot and a rich breakfast. This is exactly what you need it this kind of hotel. Be aware that the hotel is located opposite the train station. The railway noise is present - but it did not bother me. If you are not hurry, the village of Pochlarn is also worth to visit (2 hours is enough). Especially a walk along Danube river is fabulous.

easily found although tucked away the rail station and bus depot are in the same square, once out and about a pleasant area to explore, lots of other guests were on biking holidays. on the down side meals were sparce and expensive, and a dog in the dining room meant we did without breakfast, nothing against dogs 2 of our own but in a dining room!

The hotel is in a good location, right off the highway. Staff is wandering around almost always, and while they're pleasant, they're not exactly waiting to help. Our particular room was definitely dated... felt very old and used. We walked in to a very strong smell of cleaning product / bleach and at first we thought this was just a sign that the room had just been cleaned... but after a few hours we realized that it was probably to cover up a very strong and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The breakfast was nice and we left in the morning feeling full. It definitely feels like a place that's "right off the highway" and doesn't feel very family-friendly. Also, no elevator and our room was up a large flight of stairs! It's nice that there's free parking and we did get a quiet and good night's sleep - but not a place we would have wanted to be in for more than a night.

Our party of three arrived after 22:00, but the owner showed us to our rooms and then ensured his kitchen prepared a complete Austrian meal for each us. Outstanding hospitality.

Great location at the highway from East to West, good food, quiet street. Friendly Austrian atmosphere. Nice breakfast. Very moderate prices. Also nice for an Austrian lunch or dinner. Free parking. Will come here again on the way from Hungary to Germany.

Got 4 beds in the room but only 2 are proper one. Kind of tight for space and very basic service. Didn't even get a kettle on room. But not much complaint cause the price is affordable. The restaurant is better then expected for dinner and outstanding for free breakfast.

The hotel is 100 km from Vienna (Wien), its a good location, close to the highway, the rooms are very comfortable, especially the bed, there is a free parking place in front of the hotel, the bar is nice, the breakfast is very good (except maybe the coffee). Ta price-quality ratio is very good. The hotel is old but it has different type of rooms, old ones (I liked it very much) or modern ones. The TV from my room was a big one (100 cm) with a lot of channels.

Great hotel for a night on your way home. Very good breakfast and food, nice rooms and clean. Close to the highway and close to Melk, if you want a short cultural visit.

The bathroom was bizarre. Does anyone need to look at me while I go to the toilet?
