we stopped in hof on our way from berlin to hungary. the hotel was great! the service was super and their breakfast was also excellent. would recommend this to anyone.

Comfortable and good value hotel. Rate included breakfast and convenient as stopover for cycling along the Danube and EV6 cycle routes.

We were put up in a room in the house next door to the main hotel, and we really loved it! It was very roomy with a nice, big bathroom. There were ceiling fans, which was a boon during the heat wave that was going on there at the time. The property is across the street from the train station, but we were not disturbed by it at all - I don't know if the trains are just quieter, or of there was some soundproofing done on the room, but we slept well there. The only grousing I might do is to say that the tub didn't drain very well. Also, the bathtub had a hand shower in it--no curtained showering for us untalented Americans. Aside from that, I thought the room was great. The breakfast was standard continental--rolls with meat and cheese, that sort of thing. I would recommend it to a friend.

We stayed here on our way to Eastern Europe. The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety. The only thing not 100% positive was the amount of time it took to checkout. I was in a hurry and it took 10 minutes for someone to stop other tasks to check me out and 5 more to check me out. Hotel check-ins and outs should be the number one priority for any concierge.

The lady on the desk was not that friendly. It took so long for her to find our reservation. She gave us the room at the other house across the street.The room which was the first room after entering the main door was small for a family. Even my reservation was for 3persons, she gave us the small double room, no extra pillow & blanket for the third person. Our pillows were so thin that even folded in half I still felt dizzy lying so flat on it. In this room you can hear when someones at the stairs, or when someone's closing/opening the main door because at the other side of the room's wall attached are the stairs.. Breakfast was ok. The typical breakfast buffet you get on 3star hotel. I'll try other hotels next time I go in this area.

Very nice (according to its price) hotel. sometimes you might find parking problem but usually it is OK. 1 km from city center. about 700 m from the Denoba (which is great for running) over all - I reccomand

I loved this hotel, but it may not be to everyone's liking. The building is a bit old and dated (I like old buildings) but the place has character, staff are really good, free parking right outside the hotel and the food is outstanding, both dinner and breakfast (breakfast was included on our rate). If you want to see the real country and it's people, this is the kind of place I recommend and not the 4-5 star international hotel which are all the same.

Nice breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Nicely decorated. Convenient and value for money.

Charming hotel near the train station, but no Wi-Fi access in all rooms and all areas of the hotel.

Exceptional good breakfast. Price too high for what you get.
