The front desk staff, concierge and valet in particular were so friendly and kind. Bar staff were very welcoming and polite. Beautiful spa and garden setting in the centre of Bordeaux. Rooms are gorgeous. Shower pressure strong. It was lovely that the drinks and snacks in the mini bar were included. We would definitely stay again.

The location was good and the staff were amazing in the hotel. Couldn't have been more helpful and provided excellent recommendations of places to eat etc.

I think the hotel could do with a bit of tlc. The heating in the room was behind a curtain and cut off every time you pulled the curtain in front of it, so had to sleep with that open. The TV didn't work (but was fixed on asking), and the shower drain blocked twice in a 3 night stay and flooded the bathroom, which was part of the main bedroom. It was so bad on the last morning, my partner couldn't have a shower. The hot tub on the patio area was great, but the fake grass everywhere looks a bit tacky. The toilet also had limescale stains on the bowl.
