Lovely location but room looked rather tired and noise insulation (from road and bar) was poor. Food and service were fine.

Lively room and beer garden great. Staff excellent .everything spotless.

Stopped here many times, love the pub, location and the quality of the rooms are amazing, well done to Fullers Brewery. However, the food is very hit and miss, plus the attitude of a particular member of staff is very 'direct'. Some would say rude and certainly lacks a customer centric approach. After this last trip, I will join the rest of my work colleagues and stay somewhere where I'm not made to feel slightly intimidated by her. Our other staff made the move after experiencing the same poor service and bad attitude. Also, be aware that if its quiz night, you will be well down the list of priorities when it comes to simple manners or service. Its a shame, as its just one person, but she's always there.

the hotel is central for us, not overcrowded and quaint. unfortunately we were in the Blessington room which is right at the top of the building, we're elderly and I found climbing the narrow winding stairs quite demanding. I think we should have had a £20.00 refund on that. Breakfast was ok. My tea was poured out for me which is a nice touch but unfortunately it hadn't had time to brew. Staff were pleasant and courteous.

Absolutely stunning room.

We had a lovely stay here, using it as a base to attend a wedding at a local venue. Room was very nice. Staff were welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty.

Lovely inn with beautiful rooms, good value for money and great food. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Stayed many times and like the place, but I would say the food orders have often been wrong. For instance, two meals ordered with triple cooked chips, one correct, the other with 'oven chips', when we inquired, we were told they had run out of the others?. Other instances of similar seem to haunt our food there, like forgetting to tell us the cottage pie was a vegetarian version etc.

One night stay in this old worldwide style Inn. Excellent room and excellent breakfast.

Was at a wedding and managed to get a last minute room here. Very cosy and friendly pub!! Would def recommend and go there again!
