The Hind's Head

Absolutely loved our stay at the Hind’s Head, the staff were so nice, so nice to have the personal touch, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, loved having tea and coffee in the room, Everyone was very friendly, great stay.

Very picturesque village and the pub fits right in. They took very special care to social distance and managed to get us into dinner even though we had not pre-booked. Staff were very friendly, even down to the cleaners, which is unusual. Would definitely want to come back.

A great time - relaxing despite Covid-security measures & food and drink good for all ages from 10 - 60

Troubles checking in only one person working bar/restaurant/checkin. Very pleasant young man tho. Room was on 3rd floor narrow small stairs with low roof. Lost power for 7hrs. No extra blankets, no flashlights, candles nothing provided. Halls did have emergency lights nothing for rooms. No water for 8hrs couldn’t use restroom. No employees at property after 9pm. On your own! Not as expected when booked.In the morning one young woman working restaurant/bar and checkout couldn’t process our checkout said they would do it later and email a receipt. 3days now still no receipt.

Business trip stayed here before the place is lovely

Very nice room with typical english charm. Not sure about the shower stall in the bedroom with clear glass walls! Little things like a hook to hang a towel, or something to place a second suitcase on (rather than the floor) would be a good idea. Breakfast selection was great. Nice bar area for cocktails. We did not stay for dinner so cannot comment there. Staff very friendly and professional. Plenty of parking.

Lovely hotel and convenient for a business meeting close by

It was full of character. Beds were very comfortable. Felt breakfast could have been better. Dont think they had enough staff serving behind the bar or at meal times. When checking out the receptionist was not very friendly and did not ask us if we enjoyed our stay or thank us for staying there.

My stay at Hinds Head was generally very good. I stayed for one night on a business trip. The staff were all very friendly and I had an excellent meal and breakfast. However, unfortunately the Nespresso machine in the room was too dirty to use.

Lovely room, lovely people, great bar and fab food. Will stay again.
