I could wax lyrical about "The Hind's Head But limited to 100 words I'll aim to be concise. Go try it for yourself. Meet Frankie,Abi,Amy Grace & Yvonne 1. Service:- friendly, relaxed professional 2.2 nights in room 6..full of character..every item I could wish for 3.Breakfast a feast for the eyes a delight for my taste buds. Compliments to the chef 4. Clean comfy beds, great breakfast and friendly staff.

If I could score 3.5 I would as our experience was better than average but not quite good enough for good. We had to wait a while for our mains but accepted this as there was a party of 10 just ahead of us. However, we had to wait a long time for our desserts, by which time the party of 10 had left. I ended having to ask how much longer they would be. In terms of food, two people had the lemonade battered cod and, unfortunately, were not great fans. I had one of the specials, gammon crumble, which was very tasty although a little too salty for me. Our desserts, strawberry cheesecake and banana split, were good. Service was very friendly.

We had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Accommodation was fine for a an overnight stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. Travelled there by train, would have helped if I'd known the hotel was some distance from the unmanned station of Aldermaston, with onsite taxi service and I was unable to grab a cab.

What a fabulous night tonight at the Hinds Head in Aldermaston It was cocktail night with pizzas had a great time Frankie and Libby Aimée and Yvonne were so friendly and made it a great night. The food was delicious and will definitely be back again. It’s a great pub with a good atmosphere Thanks for a great night Shane

What an amazing find! This place is a joy to stay in. We had a four poster bed which was spacious and firm, perfect for us. Being an old building there is no air con and so the Dyson fan was a nice touch and well needed. The creaky floorboards added to the charm but take note if that’s not your thing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and well presented, water, fridge and coffee machine in the room meant we felt very looked after. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.
