"Great for a short stay but wouldn’t go for more than a weekend. Overpriced for what you pay."

Good location for our weekend outing. Great staff. Good sized room, especially with it being a small suite with 2 bedrooms. Good bar and restaurant area with outside seating.

Cleaning needs improving. Needs updating both outside and in rooms. But I noticed it is up for sale. Breakfast needs improving. Only have full fat milk. Bacon pre cooked and a wee bit tough. Cheap ingredients with no flavour.

Good location for what we had planned for the weekend. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Decent outdoor space.

Needs updating. Better cleaning. Only had full milk or oat milk. Needs decent breakfast ingredients.

"simple country hotel and very suitable for our stay on a cycling trip."

Bicycle storage was very easy. Staff were friendly. Food was good. We asked for a few slices of bread to make sandwiches while out on bicycles at breakfast and this was provided with no charge.
