Food was amazing!! Definitely 4*.

Room smells really bad Very dated.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable.

Eggs at breakfast and sausage not great quality, but the rest was brilliant!

It’s that b&b reminiscent of the holidays when you were young. Bar down below, local, friendly staff, going up stairs to your room only to have to go across a dance hall (unoccupied fortunately) to go down a few steps towards your room. Breakfast was great!

Slightly funky smell on aforementioned dance hall. Radiators were switched off during the night making for a cold room and inability to dry wet towels.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer erinnert eher an eine Sammlung von alten Möbeln vom Flohmarkt. Zudem sind Zimmer, Möbel, Badezimmer und Flur überall dreckig. Wir können nur vermuten, dass die Hauptzielgruppe Landwirte der Viehauktion gegenüber sind. Zudem scheint es üblich zu sein, mit extrem dreckigen Schuhen durchs Hotel zu laufen. Beim Frühstück sind Kaffee, Poridge und Potatoescones gut. Die anderen Warmspeisen sind ok. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Hotel ist nicht angemessen und wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Ideal for my purpose - a walking trip to the Galloway hills. Early breakfast available, restaurant to eat in in the evenings. Easy parking, convenient location. Helpful staff.

A little more variety for breakfast would have been nice, but that was inconsequential overall.
